Being a makeup artist has given me the opportunity to work on some incredible projects, and one experience that I’m particularly proud of is being selected to take part in a Fenty Beauty shoot.
I was one of the makeup artists chosen to film content showcasing the new Pro Filt’r foundation, demonstrating the application of my shade on camera. The experience gave me the opportunity to be part of a professional beauty shoot and showcase the product in front of the camera.
Behind the Scenes of the Shoot
Being part of the shoot was an exciting experience, allowing me to step into a different side of the beauty industry. As a freelance makeup artist, I’m used to working behind the scenes, so having the opportunity to be involved in a campaign and feature in the final content was particularly special.
The shoot focused on showcasing the new foundation across different skin tones, highlighting how the product looks and applies on different complexions.

One of the biggest highlights of the experience was seeing my video featured on the official Fenty Beauty website.
Having been selected to take part in the shoot and then seeing the finished content published on the brand’s website was a proud moment for me. It’s one thing to be involved in a professional shoot, but seeing your own video featured on the official platform of a globally recognised beauty brand makes the experience even more memorable.
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my complexion and be part of a campaign celebrating the brand’s latest foundation.
